You can book a wide range of services, from basic tune-ups and maintenance to complex repairs. Browse the services offered by mechanics in your area and select the one that suits your needs.

How do I pay for a service?

Payment is processed through the Fixie platform using our secure payment partner, Stripe. After the mechanic completes the job, you'll receive an invoice which you can pay online. Your bike will be ready for collection once the payment is made.

Can I choose my mechanic?

Yes, you can browse profiles of available mechanics in your area, read reviews, and select the one you prefer based on their skills, experience, and ratings.

What if I need to reschedule my booking?

If you need to reschedule, you can contact the mechanic directly to arrange a new date and time that works for both of you.

Are there any fees for using Fixie?

No, there are no additional fees for riders using Fixie. You only pay the price quoted by the mechanic for the service.

How do I leave a review?

After your bike is serviced, you will have the option to leave a review for the mechanic on the Fixie platform. Your feedback helps other riders find the best mechanics and helps us maintain a quality service.

Is my payment information secure?

When you book a service through Fixie, you are paying the mechanic directly for their services. Fixie facilitates the payment process to ensure secure transactions, but the payment is for the work performed by the mechanic.

What is Fixie's role in the booking process?

Fixie provides a platform to connect riders with local, independent mechanics. We handle the booking process, payment processing, and provide a system for managing appointments and reviews. However, the actual service is performed by the mechanic, not by Fixie.

Is Fixie responsible for the quality of service provided by the mechanics?

What if I have an issue with the service?

If you encounter any issues with the service, your first step should be to contact the mechanic directly through the Fixie platform to resolve the problem. If the issue cannot be resolved directly with the mechanic, you can raise a dispute with Fixie within 4 days of the service. Our support team will then step in to help mediate and resolve the issue.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are managed through the dispute process. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact the mechanic directly to discuss the issue. If a resolution cannot be reached, you can raise a dispute with Fixie within 4 days of the service. Fixie will review the dispute and work to mediate a fair outcome.
